M Group Services Completes Acquisition of Overhead Line Electrical Business | Central and Eastern offers



M Group Services, a service provider to critical infrastructure markets, has completed the acquisition of the overhead power lines business of Babcock International Group.

The acquired business operates in the niche, technically challenging overhead power transmission and distribution sector which is at the heart of the UK’s transition to Net-Zero.

He works with clients such as National Grid, Scottish Power Energy Networks and Western Power Distribution.

Following the acquisition, the business will be rebranded to become part of Morrison Energy Services, alongside existing power, gas and green energy capabilities within the energy division of M Group Services.

The agreement brings to 15 the total number of strategic acquisitions made by M Group Services since December 2016.

The advisers who worked on the deal were not disclosed.
